I was thrilled to open the mailbox today and find that my copy of the new WHAT FOLLOWS IS TRUE: THE CRESCENT HOTEL by Sean Fitzgibbon was waiting for me! I backed this project on Kickstarter to get the slipcase, signed plate, extra images, and more but if you can get a copy of this, my god, you need to — it’s amazing! I mean it, the story and the artwork really take your breath away.

Chad Maupin, Big Bot Design

This mammoth graphic novel tells the true story of the Eureka Springs Crescent Hotel, called “The most haunted hotel in America”. I’ve seen enough of it that I knew it would be great but it’s actually more awesome than I imagined. The level of talent, skill, storytelling and design shown here is really awe-inspiring. This volume immediately becomes one of the best looking books in my collection.

Daniel Jordan Pearl’s Books Owner

Sean Fitzgibbon does a marvelous job telling the story of Norman Baker and his years running the Crescent Hotel as a hospital of sorts, hawking his “cancer cure.” His visual storytelling is top notch, and it really feels like you are walking around the Crescent Hotel. Sean spent a decade working on this project, and it really shows. Do yourself a favor and pick up a nice slipcase edition! Perfect gift for fans of Eureka Springs, local history, and excellent graphic artwork.
