A panel from my upcoming graphic nonfiction was featured in this great book “Creating Comics as Journalism, Memoir and Nonfiction” about the craft of creating graphic nonfiction stories. Weaving together history, theory, and practical advice, seasoned nonfiction comics professors and scholars Randy Duncan, Michael Ray Taylor and David Stoddard present a hands-on approach to teach readers how to develop and create a graphic nonfiction story.

Graphic nonfiction completed
Recently finished my extensively researched, graphic nonfiction and looking for a publisher. The 230 pg, painted, narrative explores the Eureka Springs, AR, Crescent Hotel’s years as The Baker Hospital in the late 1930’s, an experimental cancer hospital.
Though the Crescent Hotel is known to harbor ghosts of nurses pushing wheel chairs and sickly patients walking the halls at night, nothing in its 133-year history is more eerie and bizarre than the events that took place between the years 1937 and 1939.
