I’ve been working with and in discussions with Crystal Bridges and Ozark Regional Transit and soon I’ll be wrapping a public transit bus with my art. This is part of an initiative to expand public transportation in NWA and integrate the arts. The art will consist of gear and butterfly symbolism. As Northwest Arkansas grows so does our need for public transportation. The butterfly symbolizes this transformative period and public transportation is at the very center of this change. Gears represent the progress and innovation of Northwest Arkansas. Both gears and butterflies represents the delicate balance between our natural world and our growing infrastructure and underlines our responsibility to grow responsibly and public transportation is the key to a sustainable, progressive and environmentally friendly region.
HOLIDAY ART MARKET
These are 2009 works of mine (acrylic on masonite) available for purchase at the Community Creative Center Holiday Market. The two on the right were inspired by a trip to the local university entomology department and the two on the left were based on sculptures I came across in Europe. I also have small prints available. (The bottom two have sold) The event runs through December 14.

Join us for Meet The StoryMaker in Eureka Springs. I will be selling my limited edition, sneak peek, preview books.
