On March 16 I’ll be giving an author talk with the University of Arkansas OLLI Osher (Lifelong Learning Institute) organization. I’ll be discussing my journey as an artist as well as my book along with the process of creating a graphic nonfiction. OLLI at the U of A is a local service organization providing learning opportunities, cultural programs and social activities for adults. Thanks to assistant OLLI director Sandra Sawyer.

Check out this group exhibition at the NWACC Integrated Design Lab. "Embody: A Collection of Works by NWACC Art Faculty", focuses on the artist’s journey from inspiration to creation. This art exhibition features works in a variety of media created by our talented NWACC Art Faculty, accompanied by brief statements that discuss how each artist’s personal experiences embody their art making practice. Embody will run from March 6th through the end of the month. I’ll have an original page from my book “What Follows Is True: Crescent Hotel” in the exhibition.
Opening reception for Embody on Tuesday, March 7th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Integrated Design Lab Lobby, hosted by the NWACC Art Club.
