THE ART OF JOHN FITZGIBBON

This week I thought I'd showcase one of my influences, heroes, and high school art teacher.  Oh yeah, he's also my dad.  John Fitzgibbon works in various mediums creating portraits, landscapes and murals and is featured in collections in the U.S. as well as Europe. He has had two one-man showings in the rotunda of the Oklahoma State Capitol, and in 1999 his watercolor entitled "CHEERS" won the special judge's award in the national Watercolor USA, competition. In 1989 John won the Best Of Show award in a national competition sponsored by the University Womens' Organization. Check out his work at johnfitzgibbonart.virb.com.
