What Follows Is True… Sedlec Ossuary
What Follows Is True… Having spent time in Europe, I can honestly say this is one of the strangest palaces I’ve come across. Located in the Czech Republic, The Sedlec Ossuary, better known as the “Church of Bones,” hides a haunting mystery beneath its quiet chapel. Legend says its cemetery became sacred after soil from Golgotha was scattered across the grounds, drawing countless burials over the centuries. When plague and war filled the cemetery beyond capacity, tens of thousands of bones were unearthed and transformed into the eerie chandeliers, altars, and decorations that still confront visitors with mortality today.
