Recently I posted some of my very early pen and ink pages from an unpublished crime noir graphic novel series I was hired to illustrate entitled Larcher written by John McLean. In the story Larcher is hired to investigate the disappearance of several women and through a series of leads finds himself in for much more. It was a fun book to work on but due to budgetary constraints the series was never completed. Much like my graphic novel DomestiCATed: Paths Once Crossed, this book is heavily influenced by early crime noir film and literature.

ARCHIVE: Early Crime Noir Comic Sample Pages
Much of my work contains elements of mystery, and crime noir. Here are some examples of some of my early pen and ink crime noir pages including some pencils from an early unpublished comic series I was hired to illustrate entitled Larcher written by John McLean. It's fun revisiting these old books from time to time. Much like my graphic novel DomestiCATed: Paths Once Crossed, this book is heavily influenced by early noir and mystery film and literature.
