DOMESTICATED: PATHS ONCE CROSSED

Here are a couple pen and ink panels from my revisited graphic novel “DomestiCATed: Paths Once Crossed”. It’s been rescanned, given some color, new cover, larger size and relettered.

Baker's office

Here is a panel from my upcoming, fully painted, graphic nonfiction along with the pencil roughs of this panel. This depicts Norman Baker’s office and his six-sided desk in the late 1930's. Part of this desk can be seen at the Crescent Hotel today.

symbolism

This was an image I painted while working on my graphic nonfiction. I was rendering lots of 1920’s and 1930’s medical supplies like this old wheelchair for the book. The butterfly effect or the idea that small causes may have large effects is imbedded in this book. Butterfly symbolism is deeply powerful throughout various cultures.
