Join local artist and author Sean Fitzgibbon for an exciting week of creativity at our 2D Character Design Camp, perfect for students entering 6th through 8th grade. Held at Crystal Bridges, this immersive day camp introduces young artists to the fundamentals of drawing and character creation.

Campers will dive into essential techniques like building characters from basic shapes, sketching human figures, crafting expressive faces, and mastering the art of inking. Throughout the week, they'll find inspiration from the museum’s stunning galleries—especially the dynamic KAWS: FAMILY exhibition.

By week’s end, each camper will leave with a sketchbook full of original characters and creative ideas—all sparked by a week of hands-on exploration and artistic fun.
