Join the Pittsburg State University Department of Art for What Follows Is True: Crescent Hotel, an exhibition featuring the work of artist and author Sean Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon’s visual storytelling explores the space where fact and folklore, science and superstition, and memory and myth intersect. The exhibition focuses on the history of Eureka Springs’ Crescent Hotel and its transformation into the Depression-era Baker Hospital.
His fully painted, 240-page graphic nonfiction book, What Follows Is True: Crescent Hotel, received a Kirkus Starred Review and was supported by a Mid-America Arts Alliance Artists 360 Grant and an Arkansas Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship.
