Art That Works: Illustration Exhibition

If you're in the Little Rock area, be sure to check out my work at this group exhibition of Arkansas-based illustrators Robert Bean, Nikki Dawes, Sean Fitzgibbon, Dusty Higgins, Layet Johnson, Sally Nixon, Michele Noiset, Kirk Montgomery, David O’Brien, Kasten Searles and Ricky Sikes. Special thanks to organizer Nathan Larson.

I'll have five works of original art from my book on display from my fully painted, graphic nonfiction book What Follows Is True: Crescent Hotel.  

Included in the exhibit are five drawings from the UA Little Rock Permanent Art Collection by F.R.Gruger (American, 1871-1953).

DRAWING FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

Join me Mondays, 6:30-8:30 pm January 8 – February 12, 2024 for a six-week studio course focusing on projects dealing with the materials and techniques of drawing, including basic concepts of line, perspective and value as well as figure drawing. This class will be held at the Community Creative Center at Walton Art Center's Nadine Baum Studios.
