ART THAT WORKS EXHIBITION ENDING SOON

Be sure to check out my original work in the group exhibition Art That Works before the exhibition ends on February 18. I'm exhibiting original pages from my "WFIT: Crescent Hotel" book along with 10 other Arkansas-based illustrators. This exhibition is at the Brad Cushman Gallery at the University of Arkansas: Little Rock, Windgate Center of Art + Design Little Rock, AR. The exhibit runs through February 18. PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT

Here is a bit of process, from pencils to watercolor from an upcoming What Follows Is True graphic nonfiction book I'm working on in collaboration with the Arkansas Archeological Survey, archeologist Dr. Paige Ford and AAS publications editor Julia Fan and others.  

Deep in the lower Mississippi Valley lies one of the largest and most impressive archeological sites in Arkansas. Ancient, earthen monuments rise from the valley, shrouded in mystery.
