Join me for Drawing Fundamentals at Community Creative Center! This six-week studio course is designed to build a strong foundation in drawing through hands-on projects exploring a variety of materials, techniques, and approaches.

We’ll cover essential concepts including line, perspective, proportion, value, and composition, along with an introduction to figure drawing. Whether you’re new to drawing or looking to strengthen your fundamentals, the course is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive studio environment.

WHAT FOLLOWS IS TRUE… Underground Eureka Springs

While researching my WFIT: Crescent Hotel book, I discovered another baffling feature of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, one I allude to in the book. In the 1890s, the town’s streets were raised, burying the original ground floors of local businesses beneath the new roads. Today, a hidden city lies beneath the historic streets: abandoned tunnels, forgotten rooms, and passages carved into limestone. Some served early infrastructure, others connected businesses. As the town above changed, this subterranean world faded into memory, a buried maze beneath one of Arkansas’s strangest towns. For more information visit Eureka Springs Underground.
